Important notes
All prices are in EURO. VAT is not included (it is not applicable in most cases)
Session means 1 remote (online) simulation or optimization session: single mode simulation, multi-mode (performance map) simulation, parametric scanning, optimization. Duration of session is limited for some tariff plans, i.e. session is terminated and dropped after the time limit is exceeded.
Diesel-RK Client means a set of programs installed on the Customer's PC (Diesel-RK pre- and post-processor, supplementary tools, and utilities). Recommended system requirements for Diesel-RK Client: Intel Core i5, 16GB RAM, MS Windows 7 or newer. Also works under Linux/Wine, but is not supported officially.
Subscription types
Cloud (public server).
The Diesel-RK Client is installed on the Customer's PC. The simulation code is executed on our public servers. Customers may install the Client on any number of their PCs, but run simulations only from one PC at a time.
Cloud (dedicated server).
The Diesel-RK Client is installed on the Customer's PC. The simulation code is executed on a dedicated server. We deploy and support these servers at 3rd party's cloud computing platforms (like Hetzner, AWS, and so on). We provide Customers with a secure connection to their simulation servers via VPN technology.
Customers may install the Client on any number of their PCs, and run simulations simultaneously (up to 20 user accounts per subscription). Dedicated server details (for reference): AMD Ryzen 5 3600 Hexa-Core "Matisse" (Zen2), 64 GB DDR4 RAM, 2 x 512 GB NVMe SSD (Software-RAID 1). In case of higher performance requirements, more powerful servers may be provided upon request, subject to an additional cost.
On-premises.
Both Diesel-RK Client and The simulation code are installed and executed on the Customer's PC. Customers may install the software on any number of their PCs, but simulations can only be run on one PC at a time. No internet access is required for running simulations. Recommended system requirements for Diesel-RK The simulation code: Intel Core i7, 32GB RAM, MS Windows 10 or newer.
